The Storybook Group plans to write educational picture books for students in kindergarten to grade 2.

The Storybook Group are making story books for kindergarten and grade 1-2. The books will teach the students something. This type of book is called a concept book. A concept book is different from a normal book because a concept book at the end of the story will help you learn a lesson, while a picture book could be pretty much anything.

They have researched and they learned a little bit how to make a book and what subject their story were going to be. They also interviewed Mrs. Fitzgerald.  They went to the K-G2 to survey them and they learned a lot about what those students would want to read about. Also they met with Ms. Ilonka so they would know about books because Ms. Ilonka has published a book. They have learned most from the experts that they interviewed and the students that they surveyed.
