Grade 4 at the China Week-2013

Grade four students experienced the dough figures, which is a transitional Chinese folk art during China week activity session. They made angry birds and beautiful flowers in their own way.

Grade 5 at China Week 2013

Grade Five students experienced the transitional Chinese New Year painting. They started from making the mould and then printed  their own copy of Chinese New year painting from their now design, lanterns, fireworks, fish, and tang hu lu~~ Great work!!

Grade Three students are working on the folk art activities. They use paper strips to wave into a Chinese knots, which is an transitional decoration.

Grade 4 is working on the unit of ” Inventions and Exploration”

We will be starting with learning about the inventions in ancient China. We will also try to find out some important inventions to our life and put them into a timeline so that we can see the development of the inventions. We are all looking forward to the explorations in the invention history!

Grade Three is working on Body System

Grade three students have learnt about the body parts in Chinese and they really enjoyed playing “Simon Shuo” every class for reviewing the vocabulary. They  are making a story ” Monster’s Adventure”  as a group by creating their own monsters, which can be cute, smart, scary  etc.. Students are very creative and full of imagination, the final copy will be finished  and posted soon.
