I like nuclear power, but I don’t like irresponsible actions or negligence. Take a look at this link that shows us how small our world really is now. What can we do about this?
What is the compass link here? Don’t you agree that growing even some of your own food makes a difference in a world of steel, cement and pollution, not to mention commercial processed packaged goods?

I have added a new post category called “Global Issues”. This will deal with a wide variety of science related global issues, many which link directly to the Compass Model of Sustainability. However, others will be related to other issues too. I have just posted one on recycling plastics, which I think we should all look at.
This TED talk is most interesting..it relates definitely to the Economic component of the Compass model, TOK and Economics in general. In this difficult time, when the global economy is stuttering, we need to find these rays of light.
