Thank you to the specialist teachers for a great assembly celebrating student achievement in Art, Music and PE classes. It was nice to seethe Grade 5 ‘s playing their marimbas.

Well done to Arvin and Kevin receiving Danish language certificates from Mr. Morten.

Robert Swan Talk

Yesterday, Grade 5 were invited to an excellent presentation by the polar explorer and environmental activist Robert Swan. It was both informative and engaging and certainly made you think about the conservation of this last wilderness.

Polar Explorer Visiting IST

IST is looking forward to hear Richard Swan speak next week on 29 November to grades 3 and up. Mr. Swan is a polar explorer and an environmentalist who is dedicated to the fight against global warming. Visit the library blog to read more about Mr. Swan and see the resources we have available about polar regions and conservationism.

Well done all the students who ran for positions on the Elementary Student Council. Your speeches, presentation and delivery were superb.

Thank you Mrs. Lanham and Ms. Wen for organising and running the student council. I will post the results later.
