Today went by very quickly. The chidren love Wednesday’s as they get to go home and see mum at 2 o’clock. Today in PE the chidren chased Ms Tatiana and myself around the gym for their warm up. Mr Nathan then modeled dive rolls to the children as part of a gymnatics circuit.

Our hair/beauty salon is a big hit. Both boys and girls had a wonderful time brushing each others hair and putting on (pretend) beauty products. Today Amelie had a little left over shampoo accidently put into her hair . That’s my fault! Anyway, as it turns out, it was a great problem solving exercise. Some children got paper towels to try and get the soap out. That didn’t work! Then they tried to brush it out. That didn’t work! In the end we had to set up a wash basin for Amelie so I could wash the soap out. The children loved watching and talking about when they go to the hairdressers and making connections from their home life and school.

Thank you to Landen for being our leader today. It’s amazing after only a short time what Landen can tell us about our calander. Amazing singing, Landen. Great job
