Last week, Grade 2 began a new Unit of Inquiry on Endangered Animals. Already we have been finding out what animals are endangered, why they are endangered, and how habitats might affect an animal’s ability to survive. To investigate further, we will be going on a field trip to the Tianjin Zoo. Permission slips will be sent home this Monday. For our final summative task, G2 will host an Endangered Animals Awareness Fair in our classrooms. Parents will be invited to attend this first-time ever event on Thursday, March 28th from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm.
This week, we will wrap up our math unit on fractions. The next math unit will be on telling time.
Remember that after school activities begin this week!

Dear Grade 2
I think your trip to the zoo will help you to learn more about endangered animals. I am looking forward to hearing more about your Endangered Animal Awareness Fair.
