Reading time-Footprint in the snow

Yesterday, my Grade one read a story – Footprint in the Snow.

雪地里的脚印

It is a very nice story with an open end. What I want to share mostly here is the different endings that our Grade1 students have composed…

Ending 1: The wolf followed the footprints and met with squirrel, rabbit and the frog as what he wrote in his story and when he finally saw the duck he made friend with the duck and would not think of eating it any more.
Ending 2: The wolf followed the footprints but when he reached the pond he found the footprints showing the way back and he kept following them and finally found he got back home. So the wolf just followed the footprints and walked round and round and round to chase after the footprints.
Ending 3: The wolf followed the footprints and found the real duck is not in the pond but his plastic duck. However, the real duck the wolf is looking for is in his bath tub at home.

I really enjoyed their story which showed their beautiful imagination. Great job!

Any interest to read this book I am happy to lend it to you. You may find it in the elementary Chinese classroom Tang2.
